The Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce ambassadors recently presented the Building a Better Tomorrow Today award to the Washington Harbor District Alliance for its efforts in organizing Saturday Market and the Fourth of July celebration. This is a new award that will be given on a quarterly basis to a business or organization that is committed to making the community a better place to live.

Saturday Market is a unique part of the community that exemplifies the “buy local” principles that the chamber promotes. WHDA also did a wonderful job in the planning and execution of the Fourth of July celebration that brought the community together for a night of family oriented fun, reads a WBCCOC news release.
