IBM promotes Wiley

Rusty Wiley, son of William and Sally Wiley of Washington, has been named general manager, banking and financial markets for IBM.
Wiley began his IBM career in 1987, with more than 20 years of sales, consulting and general-management experience.
“Rusty is known for his industry knowledge, client leadership and successful track record in integrating IBM’s capabilities to solve our clients’ toughest challenges. I am confident he will be a strong addition to our leadership team,” said Ian R. Hurst, an IBM top-level executive, in announcing Wiley’s promotion.
Wiley, 46, is married to the former Janie White. They have three children, Morgan, 19, Grayson, 17, and Madison, 15. Wiley is a graduate of Washington High School, East Carolina University and Duke University, where he received his master’s degree in business.
