The first lesson in grade school is someone has to be first and someone has to be last. I am sorry if you don’t like when your limbs are being cleaned up, but those who are working 12 hours a day are doing the best that they can do.

I don’t think the county commissioners should have anything to say about who is on the hospital board anymore.

I stood in line for more than six hours to receive assistance for food during Hurricane Irene. I received $37 in food stamps after having lost everything I had in my refrigerator and freezer. I just want to know what type of disaster relief aid was that?

Rational and intelligent people need to be appointed to the hospital board.

Does Pinetown have a rescue squad anymore?

As someone who is on Washington Electric Utilities, I would like to thank its employees for their hard work. These workers had to leave their families and children to get power turned back on for people. They have done a great job.

God bless the nice woman who was in front of me at the McDonald’s drive-through. She paid for my smoothie. I will pay it forward. What a nice, random act of kindness.
