Wedding – Tobar-Hardison

Jennifer Alexis Tobar and Donnie McCoy Hardison III were married on September 3, 2011, at six o’clock in the evening, at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Beverly Hills, California. Hector E. Tobar Jr., half-brother of the bride, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Linda Gelfand Tobar of Calabasas, California, and Hector Efrain Tobar of Los Angeles, California. She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Benjamin Gelfand of Lakewood, California.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donnie McCoy Hardison Jr. of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is the grandson of Mrs. Marie Revels Robinson of Washington, North Carolina, and the late Mr. Willie Guy Robinson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donnie McCoy Hardison of Robersonville.
Mrs. Kelly Rokicki of Austin, Texas, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacey Farish of Studio City, California; Olivia Wallis of Tempe, Arizona; Brittany Tobar, sister of the bride, of Los Angeles; and Kristi Goodwin of Venice, California. Luna Tobar, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.
Ryan Schenck of Orlando, Florida, served as best man. The groomsmen were John Lumpkin of New York, New York; Christopher Hardison, brother of the groom, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Seth Trejo of Los Angeles; and Matt Webb of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Robert C. Young III of Charleston, South Carolina, and Saied Toutounchian of Los Angeles acted as ushers.
The ceremony on the rooftop terrace was followed by dinner and dancing at the hotel.
The bride is a graduate of UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. She is employed by KRTH 101 FM, CBS Radio, Los Angeles as the Local Sales Manager.
The groom is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, and of Loyola Law School and Loyola Marymount University with JD and MBA degrees. He is employed by Morgan Creek Productions, Los Angeles as the Head of Business and Legal Affairs.
Following their wedding trip to Australia, the couple will make their home in Los Angeles.
