Ms. Cynthia “Cindy” Williams Bridgeman, age 48, a resident of Cody Road, Washington, N.C., passed away Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at University Health Systems Inpatient Hospice, Greenville, N.C. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations, officiated by pastor Leonard Bowers. A reception will be held for family and friends immediately following the service. Burial will take place at Oakdale Cemetery at a later date.
Cindy was born on May 5, 1963, in Beaufort County, daughter of the late Merlin Hudson Williams and Jessie Respess, who survives. She was a lifelong resident of Beaufort County.  Cindy worked at Linda’s Monogramming as a seamstress.
Along with her mother, she is survived by her two daughters, Kristen Bridgeman of Pinetown, N.C., and Samantha Bridgeman of Washington, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Misty Ingalls of Greenville, N.C.; two brothers, Mark and Kenneth Williams, both of Florida; a sister, Susan Elks of Washington, N.C.; three grandsons and one granddaughter; two step-grandsons and one step-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her fiancé, Wayne Ingalls.
