Luther Joseph Chappell, 93, a resident of 1233 County Line Road, Belvidere, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, in Chowan Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Edenton, with Roger Twine officiating. Burial will follow in the Chappell family cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are by Jimmy D. Sawyer, Funeral Director Licensee.
