Disaster services course offered by Red Cross

The Pitt County Chapter of the American Red Cross will offer “Disaster Services: An Overview” from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday.
The course provides an introduction to Red Cross disaster services, disaster preparedness and response, and explores volunteer opportunities for working with Red Cross. Participants will learn how they can help the community in a time of disaster.
The class will also be offered from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday and 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday.
