Mr. Raymond Earl Powell, 51, a resident of 496 Price Road, Chocowinity, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2011. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. James CME Church. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. today at Whitfield & Whitley chapel. The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are by Whitfield & Whitley Funeral Home.
