Mrs. Cecilia Buttry Parrott, age 81, a resident of Katy, Texas, and a native of Chocowinity, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011.

A graveside celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. today at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery, Chocowinity. The family will receive friends following the service.
