Families packed the John Small Elementary School auditorium for the school’s seventh-annual Curriculum Night. The parents’ evening began with the Principal Lisa Tate discussing important Title I information, upcoming events and the school’s high expectations for a successful school year. The PTA shared its plans for supporting the students this school year. Then, the families traveled from class to class, learning about math and reading skills their children are learning and participating in hands-on science activities.
