Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.

I would like to express I believe Black Friday is an abomination. I just think people get carried away. It’s an embarrassment to Americans countrywide. People lining up, people making fools of themselves. It’s all the dance for the merchants — dance for the merchants like puppets on a string. I must feel that it’s an embarrassment to Americans. I don’t know what you can do to get rid of it. People are fools, people are fools.

I think it’s terrible that the sides of the road have been fixed so pretty and nice after the highway being paved and hunters have come along and messed it up. They came back and refixed the roads, and now it’s messed up again. It’s really disgraceful that people don’t care. It looks awful.
