To the Editor:

Little Washington, The Original Washington, Washington on the Pamlico, Historic Washington. You can turn it and twist it anyway you want it, Washington, N.C., has been and always will be plain ole Washington, North Carolina.

Someone must be reaping a profit from this controversy; otherwise, why else would it even be an issue. People, please spend time, effort and money on the important issues of the times, not trivial pursuits.
