Edna Pearl Smith Denby Ewing, 88, a native of Pactolus, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at her Fayetteville home. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at West Fayetteville Baptist Church, 2465 Gillis Hill Road, Fayetteville. Arrangements are by Cape Fear Crematory.
