Bertie Ambulance Service General Manager Jay Raines (left) presents a 32-inch flat screen television to Tina Buck (right), unit secretary in the emergency department at University Health Systems-Pungo Hospital. The new TV will help make space in the emergency department waiting room for a children’s entertainment area. “When I spoke with Mr. Raines at Bertie and told him I needed a TV and why, all he asked was what size,” Buck said, “This is not the first time I’ve called on Bertie Ambulance to help us and they’ve always come through.” Pictured with Raines and Buck in the back row are Debbie Smith, ED RN, Bertie employees Bridgette and Sayra Hopkins, Daniele Davis, ED nurse manager, Lou Montana-Rhodes, chief nursing officer, and Jenna Williams, ED RN.
