To the Editor:

Sharing love on Valentine’s Day.

Is it enough to say, “I love you” on Valentine’s Day? Makes a difference, if you really mean it.

I asked a guy a few days ago how could the girl or lady in his life prove to him that she loved him, especially on Valentine’s Day.

He said, “When I’m with her, I like for her to be happy and caring, too. And some smiles, laughter, with a good sense of humor, are positives.

“Too, if I’m the special man in her life, maybe she might get a new hairdo to look more attractive, vibrant and younger. Wear a nice dress tailored to the right size of her body and height. Oh, yes, wear her best jewelry, put on some fragrance of perfume. This being near the token of love perfection.

“Then, maybe go to a restaurant with friends for an enjoyable hour or so. Go to the movies, and later back at home enjoy photo albums of going to the mountains, the beach and other adventurous trips.

“Seemingly, you realize just being together is dear and wonderful. A realization sets in that we loved one another from the start. Say softly to one another, ‘I love you,’ on Valentine’s Day, ‘and will forever (be your) sweetheart.’ Love and caring for those we love should never cease. Valentine’s Day helps us remember. Enjoy it.”
