Allen Garfield Swanner Jr., 22, of 154 Windley Road, Washington, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and two counts possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 15, according to a press release from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit.

The warrant was served by sheriff’s office investigators in conjunction with the N.C. Division of Community Corrections. Swanner was on probation for prior drug convictions.

“While he was on probation we conducted controlled purchases,” said a drug unit representative.

Swanner was incarcerated in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.
