McLaurin joins center’s staff

Dr. Robert McLaurin has joined the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center staff as a radiation oncologist.
He joins Dr. John Inzerillo and physician assistant Nicole Davia in caring for cancer patients in a 15-county region of eastern North Carolina.
McLaurin received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed a residency in radiation oncology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is board certified in radiation oncology and has more than 25 years of experience. He also received an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2001. McLaurin is president and CEO of Precision Radiation Oncology Systems and comes to this area from the Franklin County Cancer Center, where he was medical director.
