The Beaufort County Republican Club presented its Outstanding Law Enforcement Award for July to Cpl. Thomas Salinas (left) with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. Salinas, a certified member of the crisis intervention team, was nominated for the award by Chief Deputy Kit Campbell. Beaufort County Republican Club President Larry Britt (right) presented the award to Salinas, who also received gift certificates from Office Depot, Walmart and Woogie’s restaurant.
