Sherry Modlin Buchanan, 41, a resident of 3265 Core Point Road, Blounts Creek, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at Pamlico Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at her home and also at the home of her mother, 171 Lloyd’s Lane, Washington. Arrangements are by Pamlico Funeral and Cremation Service of Washington.
