I feel I must respond to a reader’s comment in Tuesday’s Sound Off. To say the Democratic Party is opposed to marriage between a man and a wife is absolutely and definitively untrue. All the Democratic Party wants to do is recognize that we are all equal and we all have a right to happiness no matter what our sexual orientation. Please, be careful before you make such wild statements.

I can’t believe somebody is complaining about Toyota being in NASCAR when this country is in debt up to its eyes to China, one of the worst countries in the world.
