Mr. James Clinton “J.C.” Hines, age 21, a resident of 2505 Bells Fork Road, Greenville, died Friday, August 17, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, conducted by Pastor Bryant Hines.
J.C. was born in Pitt County on February 26, 1991. He was the son of James “Brad” Hines and Tammy Barrow Alligood. J.C. loved the outdoors. He enjoyed helping others. J.C. was a good “Dad” to his little girl and loved spending time with his family.
J.C. is survived by his mother, Tammy Barrow Alligood and husband, Rodney of Washington; his father, James “Brad” Hines and wife, Lori of Greenville; his maternal grandparents, Douglas and Janice Barrow of Grimesland; his paternal grandmother, Lorraine Hines of Greenville; fiancée, Sara Joyner of Greenville; daughter, Caroline Renee of Greenville; uncles, Doug “D.J.” Barrow of Grimesland, Bryant Hines and wife, Karen of Bear Grass; aunts, Donna George of Greenville, Darlene Edens and husband, Randy of Greenville; step-grandparents, Kenny Ray and Myra Alligood of Washington and step-brother, Tyler Alligood of Washington.
J.C. was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Connie B. Hines, Sr. and uncles, Charles W. Barrow and Bob George.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Tammy B. Alligood, 859 Betsy Elbow Road, Washington and his father James “Brad” Hines, 2217 Black Jack Grimesland Road, Greenville.
