James McLean “Jim” Daniels, 86, of Roper, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell, with the Rev. Edgar Masencup officiating. Burial will follow in Azalea Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home following the service and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
