Susan Pilkington Baker, age 57, of Engelhard, died Monday, August 20, 2012. Born in Johnston County on June 27, 1955, she was the daughter of Leoma Jones Pilkington of Selma and the late Charles Edward Pilkington. Susan was an office manager for the North Carolina Forest Service.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 23, at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her son, Rev. Steve Grice and wife Tonya of Smithfield; her sister Sandra Pilkington of Selma; special friend Tim Terrell of Columbia; nieces and nephew, Lynn Pilkington Mozingo, Tom and Eve Pilkington; great-nephews Brandon Mozingo and wife Sarah, Luke Pilkington; and great-great-niece Miranda Mozingo.
