Sarah Winnette Butler Stewart, 79, passed from this life Friday, October 19, at Pleasant View Healthcare in Bolivar, TN.
She was born in Elizabethtown, NC, April 26, 1933, to Arthur Marshall and Daisy Register Butler. She was married to Wilburn Elihue Stewart, Jr.  on November 5, 1950, and was a homemaker all her life. A native of NC, she spent the last 6 years in Hardeman County. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Graveside services were held at 2 PM, Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at the Howell Family Cemetery in Middleton, TN, with James Smith officiating.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Sandy Hall and husband Dana of Core Point, NC, Susan Ellstrom and husband Jim of Bossier City, LA, and Rosanne Smithwick and husband Sonny, also of Core Point, NC; two sons, Mike Stewart and wife Dorothy of Bolivar, TN, and Arthur Stewart of Gatlinburg, TN; and by one brother, Horace Butler of Elizabethtown, NC.
