Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.

With reference to yet another recount between Mr. White and Mr. Cook, it starts to look as though the Dems are taking their cue from the Minnesota Dems who could have counted and recounted and recounted until Al Franken beat Norm Coleman to become one of that state’s U.S. senators.

What’s the big deal about East Carolina going to the Big East? Have you looked at the Big East Conference? It’s really a garbage dump. It’s the teams that other conferences didn’t want. All the good teams were raided by other conferences. It’s terrible. It’s shameful. All them good teams are gone. It’s just trading one bad conference for another. It was not an upgrade; it really was more of a sideways.
