Geraldine Baum Bush

Geraldine Baum Bush, 91, of Fairfield, and most recently a resident of South Daytona Beach, Florida, died Friday, November 6, 2012.
Born in Hyde County November 1, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Edna Tomlin Baum, she was married to George E. Bush who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Fairfield United Methodist Church, attended the former Woman’s College in Greensboro, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and for over sixty years and she owned and operated Bush’s crab pot shop.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday at the family plot in the Fairfield Cemetery. Sue Farlow will officiate.
Surviving are two sons, William C. “Sonny” Bush and wife Sandra of Manteo, and John P. Bush and wife Connie of Yorktown, VA; three daughters, Martha E. Johnson and husband Russell of Harmony; Edith “Frankie” Eaton and husband Walter of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Annette Berry of Camden; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Tomlin.

The family will receive friends at Bryan Funeral Service Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
