Early College students to attend district History Day competition

Beaufort County Early College High School students participated in the school’s first National History Day (NHD) competition on Dec. 12, 2012. Students taking Ms. Amanda Smith’s World History class chose a historical topic and constructed projects using primary resources. The students’ projects were judged by Laura Ketcham, the State Coordinator for NHD; Dr. Chad Ross, the District Coordinator for NHD; and Keith Lyon, Beaufort County Community College World History professor.
The following students won their project category and will go on to compete at the district competition at East Carolina University on March 27, 2012.
