Mr. Maige “Ray” Eastwood, age 67, a resident of 3248 River Road, Washington, died Saturday, January 19, 2013, at his home.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Stantonsburg Cemetery in Stantonsburg, conducted by Pastor Lee Hendricks. .
The following will serve as pallbearers: Don Price, Andrew Price, Matthew Price, Jeremy Price, Greg Carpenter and Jesse Campbell.
Mr. Eastwood was born in Pitt County on September 11, 1945. He was the son of the late Maige Eastwood and Mildred Della Bryant Eastwood. Mr. Eastwood served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a clerk for Zip Mart for 10 years and A.B.C. Board for 20 years.
Mr. Eastwood is survived by two sisters, Pam Price and Margaret Fay Smith, both of Stantonsburg; one brother, Carlton B. Eastwood of Wilson; a niece and several nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Eastwood was preceded in death by a brother, Bonnie Marshall Eastwood and a sister, Betty Carpenter.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home, 3248 River Road, Washington.
