The Beaufort County Community College Foundation would like to gauge interest in a trip to Durham to see “The Book of Mormon,” the Tony-Award-winning musical about Mormon missionaries in Africa. The musical is making its first appearance in North Carolina Feb. 18 through 23 at the Durham Performing Arts Center. The Foundation is tentatively planning a trip to see a matinee performance on Saturday, Feb. 22. Tickets will go on sale next week and the production is likely to be sold out in a matter of hours, according to Foundation Director Judy Jennette.
