Eva Mae Burnette

Mrs. Eva Mae Burnette, 61, of 1547 Mackey’s Road, Plymouth, died May 2, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

A funeral will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Temple of Christ Church with Bishop Avery Barnes, pastor, and Vice Bishop Daniel Gilliam delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Rhodes family cemetery.

Mrs. Burnette was born in Washington County on March 15, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Richard S. Rhodes, Sr., and Margaret Patrick Rhodes. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Burnette of the home; three sons, Timothy Burnette, Washington, N.C., Kenny Burnette, Seattle, Wash., Donnie Burnette, Plymouth; brother, Ricky Rhodes, Newport News, Va.; three sisters, Lula Spruill, Plymouth, Glennie Patrick, Hampton, Va., Debrey Boston, Plymouth; and three grandchildren.

The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m for viewing. The family is receiving friends at the home.

Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
