Your editorial for June 6 — For crying out loud — my comment is a policy like this would not fly within the borders of Beaufort County. Let me just tell you that maybe that’s why Washington doesn’t have any decent restaurants. I’m talking about real restaurants.

 

I just wanted to say a big “thank you” for the great article you did on Frank and Hattie Foskey and their 67 years of marriage. I think it was well-written. … I wish more people could have such good luck.

 

A recent editorial was way off — about the children in restaurants. Remember the days when you could have a smoking area and nonsmoking area? Why couldn’t you have a child area and a non-child area?
