8/1/13 2:17pm Larceny was reported on Old U.S. 64. Chief Deputy Simmons responded.
8/1/13 5:15pm Obtaining property by false pretense was reported. Chief Deputy Simmons is investigating.
8/1/13 5:35pm A careless and reckless driver was reported on N.C. 94. Chief Deputy Simmons responded.
8/1/13 6:00pm A dog bite was reported on Legion Beach Rd. Deputy Whitener and Animal Control responded.
8/1/13 6:00pm Jessica L. Gianferra 23,of Columbia was arrested for exploit disabled / elder trust, finanical card theft, financial card fraud. Sgt. McPeak was arresting officer.
8/1/13 9:25pm A vehicle accident was reported on Fort Landing Rd. Deputy Shivley responded. The Highway Patrol investigated.
8/1/13 9:31pm A vehicle accident was reported on Albemarle Church Rd. Deputy Whitener investigated.
8/1/13 10:50pm A suspicious vehicle was reported on U.S. 64 East. Deputies Shivley and Whitener responded.
8/1/13 11:59pm A fire alarm was reported at Eastern 4-H Center. Tyrrell Fire, Washington Tyrrell EMS and Deputy Pinkham responded.
8/2/13 10:35am A small child was reported walking alone in the roadway on Bodwell Rd. SheriffLiverman and Social Services responded. The child was taken into custody and turned over to Social Services. Social Services is investigating.
8/2/13 1:18pm A vehicle accident was reported on U.S. 64. Deputy Davenport responded.
8/4/13 12:06am An assault was reported on Fonsoe St. Sgt. Mcpeak and Deputies Allen, Coltrain and Shivley responded. Charges are pending.
8/4/13 8:44am An alarm was reported on N.C. 94 North. Deputy Whitener responded.
8/4/13 4:48pm Trespassing was reported on Turner Rd. Deputy Barnes responded.
8/4/13 6:10pm Marianne A. Babcock 21, of Carlisle Pa. recieved a citation for simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy Allen issued the citation.
8/4/13 6:59pm Chase A. Morris 22, of Columbia was arrested for probation violation. Deputy Coltrain was arresting officer.
8/5/13 1:17am An alarm was reported on U.S. 64 East. Deputy Coltrain responded.
8/5/13 9:40pm a person was reported missing on Etheridge Rd. Deputies Shivley and Whitener responded.
8/6/13 4:35pm Damage to property was reported on Scuppernong Dr. Chief Deputy Simmons responded.
8/6/13 9:26pm A suspicious vehicle was reported on Frying Pan Rd. Deputies Shivley and Pinkham responded.
8/7/13 6:02am A vehicle accident was reported on Newlands Rd. Deputy Barnes investigated.
8/8/13 12:37am An alarm was reported on U.S. 64 East. Deputy Coltrain responded.
8/8/13 2:08pm A vehicle accident was reported on Travis Rd. The Highway Patrol investigated.
8/8/13 6:00pm A vehicle was reported stolen on South Gum Neck Rd. The vehicle was located and prosecution was declined. Deputy Davenport investigated.
8/8/13 8:35pm A fight was reported on Fonsoe St. Deputies Coltrain and Davenport responded. As a result Malcom Mock 25, of Creswell was arrested for simple assault. Deputy Coltrain was arresting officer.
8/9/13 10:01pm A fight was reported on Fonsoe St. Deputies Davenport, Shivley and Whitener responded.
8/9/13 11:31pm A fight was reported on Fonsoe St. Deputies Daveport , Shivley and Whitener responded.
8/10/13 12:38am As a result of the numerous calls for fights on Fonsoe St. the Tyrrell County Sheriff’s Office and the North Carolina Highway Patrol told the crowd of people to disperse. The people did not comply. As a result the following arrests were made. Carlos D. Basnight 22, of Columbia was arrested for failure to disperse, Kennedy Combs 31 of Columbia was arrested for failure to disperse.
8/10/13 12:59am A fight was reported on Railroad Ave. Deputy Davenport responded.
8/10/13 8:30am Damage to property was reported at the Visitors Center. Chief Deputy Simmons investigated.
8/10/13 2:15pm Obtain property by false pretense was reported. Chief Deputy Simmons investigated.
8/10/13 4:31pm A vehicle accident was reported on Scuppernong Dr. Washington Tyrrell EMS, Chief Deputy Simmons and the Highway Patrol reponded. The driver of the vehicle was charged with DWI by the Highway Patrol.
8/11/13 12:05am Ashley N. Douglas 27, of Washington N.C. recived a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy Whitener issued the citation.
8/11/13 12:10am Marcie L. Bryant 22, of Durham recieved a citation for simple possession of marijuania, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon. Deputy Shivley issued the citation.
8/11/13 12:10am Paul C. Ross 25, of Durham recieved a citation for simple possession of marijuania and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy Shivley issued the citation.
8/11/13 1:23am A robbery was reported at Woodgate. Deputies Shivley and Whitener responded. The incident is being investigated.
8/11/13 3:35pm A vehicle accident was reported on U.S. 64 East. Chief Deputy Simmons and the Highway Patrol responded.
