Michael Stanley Finch August 20, 1951- September 3,2013
Michael Stanley Finch, 62, of Columbia died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Born August 20, 1951 in Halifax County he is the son of Dalton Leonard Finch and Jacqueline Schmidt Finch who survive.  Michael was a retired assistant principal and school teacher with Washington County Public Schools and member of Gospel Light Church of Christ.

Besides his parents his family includes his sister, Kathy Finch Davenport of Plymouth, N.C. and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Friday, September 6, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Gospel Light Church of Christ, Dardens with Jim Cooper officiating.  Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth and other times at his parent’s residence.  Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth.  Condolences may be made to the family at www.maitlandfuneralhome.com .
