Mrs. Janet Credle Hood, 88, of 2701 Amhurst Bldv., New Bern, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at Carolina East Medical Center, New Bern. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at the family plot in Soule Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Bongiorno officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service. Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter.
