Phelps Sworn in as Attorney in Washington County

The youngest county commissioner in the state of North Carolina was sworn in as an Attorney at Law on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013 at the Washington County Courthouse.

Attorney D. Cole Phelps  was introduced to the Court by Attorney Venus Boston and sworn in as an Attorney for the state of North Carolina by the Honorable Regina R. Parker.

Phelps plans to open his practice in the coming weeks in Plymouth. Phelps will serve the second judicial district, which encompasses Beaufort, Martin, Washington, Tyrrell and Hyde Counties. Phelps is the son of Michelle Phelps of Creswell and of David Phelps of Creswell. Phelps is the grandson of Anita and Milton Phelps, and Helen and Phillip Phelps, both of Creswell.
