John Willis Woolard

Mr. John Willis Woolard, 86, of 1084 U.S. Highway 64 East, Plymouth, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with LeVance Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Woolard family cemetery.
Mr. Woolard was born in Martin County. He was the son of the late Mack and Mamie Woolard. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was a retired janitor for Martin County Schools.
Survivors include four sons, John W. Woolard Jr., Raleigh, Floyd Woolard, Hallard Woolard and Alphonsa Woolard, all of Jamesville; five daughters, Marion Manning, Rudene Mitchell, both of Plymouth, Valerie Moore, Willliamston, Lorraine Ghee, Jamesville, Deborah Norfleet, Raleigh; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family is receiving friends at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, LeVance and Rudene Mitchell.
Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
