NORTH CAROLINA ESTUARIUM | CONTRIBUTED A GREAT ATTRACTION: The North Carolina Estuarium as recently honored as the North Carolina Travel Industry Association’s (NCTIA) Visitor Attraction of the Year for 2013. “This honor is a reflection of the respect the Estuarium has earned from across the state for years,” said Tom Stroud, with the Partnership for the Sounds. “It is a tribute to the staff and to the entire community, and truly demonstrates that Washington is getting a reputation as a great place to visit.” Here the Estuarium staff poses with the plaque presented by the NCTIA.
