Firearms, offshore fishing rod and reel combos, guitar and amplifier were all returned to the owner after the stolen items turned up at a Farmville residence recently.

The theft of the items occurred on Sept. 13 and with the assistance of the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office, Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office investigators located the stolen goods and charged James Bennett Mizell, 26, of Cedric Road, Farmille, with felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

At the time of the charges, Mizell was being held at the Pitt County Detention Center where he was being held on unrelated charges.
