Columbia Crossing Restaurant is holding a Window Decorating Contest to Honor the Christmas Season.
Owner Dana Summerell explained some of the details regarding the contest.
“The windows are assigned a number one through nine and put into a cup to be drawn on a first come first serve basis Nov 25th,decorations can begin Friday the 29th and must be completed by the following Friday Dec 6. Voting will be the entire week Sat Dec 7th-Fri Dec 13th. Voting is done by paying customers on a ballot slip and dropped in a box,” she said.
No large quantities of slips will be accepted.  There is only one ballot per customer per trip. Votes will be tallied Friday the 13th night after closing and winner announced Sat Dec14th. 1rst place receives $100 cash,2nd $50 cash and 3rd a $25 gift certificate. Participants can only be a non-profit locally based group ie: Rotary,Lions,Girl Scouts,Yecca,Friends of Library. Groups are responsible for taking their decorations down and cleaning their window as needed after Jan 1
