Mrs. Shirley N. James-Cordon, 81, of 1285 Mill Road, Jamesville, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at Mt. Carmel Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Bishop William T. Collins officiating. Burial follows in the church’s cemetery. The family is receiving friends at the home. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
