Mr. Judge Arlie Cardwell, age 90, of Roper, NC, formerly of Louisburg, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Corinth Baptist Church, 4582 U.S. Highway 401 North, Louisburg, N.C. 27549. The Rev. Matthew Bowden will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at the church. Arrangements are by Mulkey Funeral Home, 516 Virginia Road, Edenton.
