CAMERAMAN OF THE YEAR: STRS Productions camera operator Ron Marchand has been working on the REFUGE-series films since the beginning of REFUGE-Pea Island. His involvement in the films has been priceless. His dedication and innovative skills have helped take each film to its highest level. Ron is also a highly skilled photographer. Some of his still photos are incredible. On each assignment of the Refuge Series film, Ron would spend endless hours catching some of the hardest wildlife shots a videographer could imagine. He and producer Blake Scott have experienced many “once in a lifetime” experiences together on some of the film shoots during the making of the series. It is with our honor to dedicate Ron as “Cameraman of the Year” for 2013 with STRS Productions.
