Mrs. Virginia Chesson Manning, 85, of 1190 Johnson Drive, Williamston, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Martin General Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Tavenner officiating. Burial follows in Tice Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at the church and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston.
