2/1/14 4:00pm A scam was reported on North Gum Neck Rd. Deputy Barnes investigated.
2/3/14 8:18am An alarm was reported on Scuppernong Dr. Chief Deputy Simmons responded.
2/3/14 3:59pm A Tyrrell County School Bus was disabled on U.S. 64. Sheriff Liverman responded
2/3/14 5:30pm Rolf D. Peterson 40, of Columbia recieved a citation for possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputy Shivley issued the citation.
2/3/14 8:52pm A domestic was reported on Goat Neck Rd. Deputies Shivley and Whitener responded.
2/4/14 2:43am An alarm was reported on U.S. 64. Deputy Whitener responded.

2/6/14 12:20pm Deangleo McClenny 31, of Columbia was arrested for shop lifting at Food Lion. Deputy Barnes was arresting officer.
2/6/14 3:05pm Milton G. Simpson Jr. 34, of Columbia recieved a criminal summons for communicating threats. Deputy Barnes served the summons.

2/13/14 3:24pm A Tyrrell County School Bus was disabled at the intersection of N.C. 94 and US. 64. Sheriff Liverman and Deputy Davenport responded.
2/14/14 4:15am A vehicle accident was reported on U.S. 64 East. Deputy Whitener responded.
2/14/14 10:25am An attempted suicide was reported at Dalton House Motel. Washington Tyrrell EMS responded. The person was transported to Vidant Chowan Hospital. Sheriff Liverman and Deputy Barnes responded.
2/14/14 12:09pm A fire alarm was reported at Tyrrell Elementary School. Tyrrell Fire Dept. responded.
2/14/14 10:16pm A suspicious person was reported on Main St. Deputy Coltrain responded.
2/15/14 12:00am The N.C. Highway Patrol and the Tyrrell County Sheriff’s Office were conducting a drivers license check point on the Scuppernong. As a result deputies seized 12.71 grams of marijuania and over 7,900.00 in cash. Kerry B. Baxter, 41 of Kill Devill Hills was charged with possession of marijuania and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies Coltrain and Pinkham were arresting officers.
2/15/14 9:40pm An alarm was reported on N.C. 94 North. Deputy Pinkham responded.
2/16/14 4:29am An alarm was reported on Scuppernong Dr. Deputy Coltrain responded.
2/16/14 6:00pm Brantley K. Strickland 31, of Golden Colorado recieved a citation for simple possession of marijuania and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy Pinkham issued the citation.
2/16/14 11:30pm After a foot chase deputies arrested Toraino C. Spencer 41, of Columbia and charged him with habitual misdeameanor assault and resist delay and obstruct and officer. Deputies Pinkam and Coltrain were arresting officers. Spencer was place in the Washington County Detention Center on 8,000 secured bond.
2/17/14 8:58am A DOA was reported on Waterfront Rd. Washington Tyrrell EMS, Chief Deputy Simmons and the Tyrrell Medical Examiner responded.
2/17/14 12 :36pm A careless and reckless driver was reported on U.S. 64. Chief Deputy Simmons responded.
2/17/14 5:49pm An alarm was reported on N.C. 94 North. Deputy Shivley responded.

2/19/14 7:57am A vehicle accident with injuries was reported on U.S. 64 West. Tyrrell Fire, Washington Tyrrell EMS and Sheriff Liverman responded. The two occupants were transported to Chowan Hospital. The Highway Patrol investigated.
2/19/14 11:19am Stanley Spencer 55, of Columbia was arrested for failure to pay child support. Spencer was placed in Washington County Detention Center. Sheriff Liverman was arresting officer.
2/20/14 12:37am A suspicious vehicle was reported on N.C. 94 South. Deputy Coltrain responded.
2/20/14 7:29am An alarm was reported on Albemarle Church Rd. Deputy Barnes responded.
2/20/14 6:14pm A vehicle accident was reported on Travis Rd. The Highway Patrol responded.
2/20/14 1:24pm Suspicious activity was reported on Crosslanding Rd. Chief Deputy Simmons responded.
2/23/14 1:18am A fight was reported at Good Times Tavern. Deputies from the Tyrrell County and Washington County Sheriff'[s Office and the Highway Patrol responded. As a result Antonio D. Basnight 25, of Columbia was arrested for assault. Deputy Whitener was arresting officer.
2/23/14 8:25am An alarm was reported on Scotsville St. Chief Deputy Simmons responded.
2/23/14 5:04pm A careless and reckless driver was reported on U.S. 64. The Highway Patrol responded.
2/26/14 A fire alarm was reportedon North Light St. Fire Chief Johnny Spencer and Deputy Barnes responded.
2/26/14 2:03pm Fraud was reported on Elm St. Deputy Barnes responded.
2/26/14 9:42am A vehicle accident was reported in the parking lot of Wilco Hess. Sheriff Liverman responded.
2/26/14 3:43pm A veicle accident was reported in the parking lot of the Tyrrell County Public Library. Deputy Barnes responded.
