Lara Sturman Schwartz, 42, of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 15, 2014.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 4 PM in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel.

Lara was born and lived the majority of her life in southern Florida. She has resided in the Greenville community since 2011. She will be remembered for her love of animals, especially her cats.

Lara was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Sollenberger.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Schwartz and his son, Ben Schwartz, of Belhaven; brother, Glen Sturman of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; special friends, Norbert K., Sharon, and Norbert G. Howe, of Greenville; sister-in-law, Marti Van Scott and her husband, Mike, of Greenville; brother-in-law, Scott Schwartz and wife, Sarah, of Urbana, IL; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets.

The family will receive friends following the service at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
