To the Editor:

Since our house fire on December 11, 2013, we have received so much support from our family, friends, and community. We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, donations and everything else that has been done to help us move forward. This was a very numbing and humbling experience. There is no way we can thank everyone enough for your outpouring of compassion and thoughtfulness. This experience has definitely brought light to the fact that Beaufort County is indeed one of the best communities to live in. Because of you, we were able to celebrate Christmas with our children and family. Because of you, we were able to clothe, shelter and feed our family. No words will ever express the sincere appreciation we have for all you have done to help our family recover from one of the most tragic events in our lives. It is our hope and dedication to pay your kindness forward in the future. We are continuing to move forward and hope to be back in our neighborhood before summer.
