Mr. William Bryant Hodges, age 83, of 364 Pinetree Court, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Trinity Cemetery in Chocowinity.
Son of the late Norman and Mamie Paramore Hodges, he was born January 20, 1931 in Washington, NC where he lived for 32 years. He had lived in Toccoa, Georgia for the last five years. Mr. Hodges was a U.S. Army/Air Force Korean War Veteran, retired from Singer Furniture Company in Washington, NC and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Evelyn Hubbard Hodges; daughter and son-in-law, Claudia and Ned Eldridge of High Point, NC; three sons, John Hodges and Timmy Hodges both of Greensboro, NC and Michael Hodges of High Point, NC; two step-daughters, Anita (Tom) Bennett of Orchard Hill, Georgia and Elaine (Donnie) Gordy of Toccoa, Georgia; step-son, Morris Segars of Toccoa, Georgia; number of grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Faye Hodges of Chocowinity, NC.
The family will receive friends at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2014.
