Mrs. Ruth Wynne Hoggard, 87, of Roper, died Friday, April 11, 2014 at Vidant Chowan Hospital in Edenton. A funeral will be conducted Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Roper. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home in Creswell.
