An unexpected guest

ARCHIE GREEN | CONTRIBUTED UNEXPECTED GUEST: Archie Green, of Swan Quarter, had an unexpected visitor in the garage this week. An eight-foot alligator had found its way into the garage and gave Green quite a surprise. District Wildlife Biologist Chris Turner of the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission was called to the scene and safely removed the alligator from Green’s garage. Turner said the alligator was released back into its natural habitat, an isolated area in Hyde County.
