On June 3, 2014, investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Brandon Marque Sherman, 29, of 1935 Hardy Road, Greenville, and Kimberly Dobson Sherman, 26, of 307 Hillcrest Drive, Greenville. Their arrest stemmed from investigators receiving information referencing heroin distribution from a location in Washington. Investigators conducted surveillance of the area and witnessed Brandon Sherman conduct a drug transaction. Investigators conducted a traffic stop on Sherman’s vehicle after leaving the area and placed Brandon Sherman and Kimberly Sherman under arrest. As a result of the investigation investigators seized 20 dosage units of heroin packaged in wax paper bindles.

Brandon Sherman and Kimberly Sherman were arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, maintaining a vehicle to facilitate drug activity and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brandon Sherman was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $150,000 secured bond. Kimberly Sherman was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.

Man charged with River Road Estates crack sales

On June 6, 2014, investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Carlos Lavon Ebron Jr., 28, of 626 Jackson Swamp Road, Pantego. Ebron’s arrest stemmed from investigators conducting controlled purchases of crack-cocaine. Investigators conducted surveillance of Ebron and learned he was selling crack-cocaine from 126 East Drive in River Road Estates in Washington. Investigators executed a search warrant at this residence and seized 9 grams of crack-cocaine pre-packaged for resale and digital scales.

Carlos Ebron was arrested and charged with three counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Ebron was also served with an order for arrest for failure to pay child support. Carlos Ebron was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $16,500 secured bond.
